Basic Principle
When the external environment changes, the optical signals in the fiber (intensity, phase, wavelength, polarization state, etc.) undergo corresponding variations. By detecting these changes and employing techniques such as Optical Time‑Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) or Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG), the spatial distribution and temporal evolution of the measured parameters can be derived.
Customization
The sensing fiber can be customized according to specific application requirements (e.g., operating wavelength, coating material, cable structure, or connector type) to suit different installation environments and performance needs.
